Providng services is not the sole aim of this website or the consultants that work with us. We are firstly psychosocial disability human rights activists that work within a theoretical framework where knowledge is power. Discourse, beliefs and conversations are what shape power and how power is administrated. Administered power is the policies and practices under which we can be oppressed. It determines our social, economic and political reality. This is the theory of who many of us regard as the a founding father of critical movement that challenges the discourse of psychiatry and the western medical model.
