Pan African Network of People with Psychosocial Disabilities

PANUSP was established in 2005. The Psychosocial Disability Rights Project began working with PANUSP in 2010 to write a proposal to have a capacity building project in Cape Town South Africa. This resulted in the Cape Town Declaration of 2011

The Psychosocial Disability Rights Project continues to manage the Secretaria of this Network on a voluntary basis until funds are sourced.

Strengthen our Voices
A project to build capacity of the WNUSP.

A Working Group was established in January 2013 and mandated by the Board of WNUSP to coordinate a Capacity Building Project called “Strengthen Our Voices”. The goal is to further promote the abilities of WNUSP to effectively carry out its purpose of being a global forum and voice to promote the rights and interests of users and survivors of psychiatry.
